Questions about eligibility.
Everything educators ask before applying to the KAPreps verified network.
Do I need experience with all four curricula?
No. You need proven expertise in at least one of Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge AS and A Level, IB MYP or DP, or Advanced Placement. Many educators specialise in a single curriculum and a single subject.
Is 3 years of teaching experience mandatory?
Three years is our minimum benchmark. Exceptional educators with fewer years but strong documented student outcomes and subject expertise may still be considered after the teaching demonstration.
Are formal certifications required to apply?
Cambridge workshops, IB training and AP certifications strengthen an application, but they are not a hard barrier. Demonstrated conceptual teaching quality and verified student results carry equal weight.
How are my credentials verified?
You submit degree certificates, teaching certifications and proof of experience. Our academic team verifies each document and confirms the details before your profile is approved.
What technology setup do I need?
A laptop or desktop, a stable high speed internet connection, a pen tablet or digital writing setup, and a quiet space suitable for engaging live online classes.
Can I apply if I teach full time at a school?
Yes. Many verified educators teach at international schools and take KAPreps sessions around their schedule. You choose the hours you make available.
How long does the selection process take?
Most applications move from resume review to final certification within two to three weeks, depending on scheduling of the teaching demonstration and subject interview.
What happens if my application is not accepted?
You receive feedback on the areas assessed and can reapply after six months once you have strengthened those areas.
